The certification begins with a detailed technical assessment, followed by rigorous audits, ensuring the establishment fully meets the standards defined by the corporation. Upon approval, the establishment receives the certification with a validity of 12 months and may officially use the Certified Care Companion Animals Seal, a registered trademark of CloverLeaf, on institutional materials, advertising pieces, social media, and commercial communications, always following the usage rules and guidelines defined by the corporation.
At the end of the annual cycle, new audits are conducted to ensure the continuous maintenance of excellence standards.

How Does the Certification Process Work ?

Commitment
In the first stage, a document will be sent to collect company information, along with the contract.

Advisory and Training
In the second stage, we begin the advisory and training phase. A member of our team will work together with you to update or implement animal welfare processes.
02 Months

Third-Party Audit
In the third stage, the audit is conducted. An auditor from our team — different from the professional who conducted the advisory — will be responsible for this assessment, ensuring impartiality in the process.
1–2 Days
04
Certification
In the fourth and final stage, certification takes place. To achieve it, all “non-conformities” identified during the audit must be addressed and corrected. After this validation, the certificate is issued with a 1-year validity.
