We are Companion animal dedicated division of CloverLeaf Animal Welfare Systems, with the mission of raising the standard of care for companion animals in Brazil and around the world.
In 2026, we began our operations in Brazil by officially launching the Certified Care Companion Animals program, a certification based on the 5 Domains of Animal Welfare, which define the criteria of our program.
The Five Domains of Animal Welfare
- Adequate nutrition and hydration — ensuring access to quality food and water, in the right quantity, meeting the nutritional needs of each animal.
- Environmental comfort — providing a safe, clean, and appropriate environment that offers physical comfort and protection against risks and adverse conditions
- Preventive and emergency healthcare — regular medical care, disease prevention, vaccination, and prompt attention in emergency situations.
- Expression of natural behavior — allowing animals to perform species-typical behaviors, stimulating physical, social, and mental activities.
- Stress-free handling — practices that minimize pain, fear, discomfort, and suffering, ensuring that all procedures respect the animal's well-being.
The Certified Care seal goes beyond a certification: it is a public declaration of your establishment’s commitment to animal welfare, grounded in internationally recognized criteria and based on solid principles of ethical and responsible care.
