Canil do Balaco Braco was born from a passion that transformed into a mission and, today, into a reference. Since 1998, established in Greater São Paulo, we have developed serious, ethical, and committed work toward the evolution of the German Shorthaired Pointer (Kurzhaar) in Brazil.

In terms of health, responsibility goes far beyond aesthetics and titles. We are the only kennel of the breed in Brazil that submits 100% of our breeding dogs to official hip and elbow dysplasia exams and publishes the results. From 2020 onwards, we also introduced DNA exams conducted by Animal Genetics in the United States, detecting mutations for:

• Cone Degeneration (CD)
• Von Willebrand Type 2
• Chondrodystrophy
• Chondrodysplasia

This reflects our absolute commitment to the longevity, quality of life, and well-being of our dogs and the dogs we bring to the families and breeders who choose us.
